Starr currently has two book clubs that are free and open to all. For current book club meeting informational fliers, visit the Adult Programs page or our calendar.
Starr Book Club
The group reads a different book each month, of which copies are available to check out at the library. This book club reads a balanced mixture of contemporary fiction and nonfiction, as well as classics. For the title of this month’s book, as well as the date and location of the current month’s meeting, sign up to receive our newsletter, visit our calendar, or the Adult Programs page. To get a copy of the book, simply call us, request a copy at the circulation desk, or order through the online library catalog. Meetings are generally held on a Tuesday at 7pm.
Mysteries Around the World Book Club
This club meets the second Tuesday of every month at 1pm. Each month features a different mystery novel taking place in a specific country. Sign up for our newsletter, visit the calendar, or check out our Adult Programs page. Click here for more information about this club.*

Read, cook, eat, and discuss favorite cookbooks and recipes with a community of fellow food lovers! We meet quarterly on the first (or second) Wednesday of the month. Sign up for our newsletter, visit the calendar, or check out our Adult Programs page to stay up to date on upcoming sessions!
