The Friends of Starr Library host several book sales each year, during library hours on a consecutive Friday and Saturday. Sales take place in the lower level of the library, and offer a wide range of both fiction and nonfiction books, books on CD, music CDs, and more for all ages and audiences, with proceeds going to support Starr Library and our programs. Materials can be purchased at the book sales with cash, check or credit card.

We are collecting book donations through Wednesday, October 7th.
Thank you for your interest in donating! We accept book donations on Sundays from 10-12 and Wednesdays from 12-2. All upcoming dates listed here.
Please DO NOT leave donations outside or bring them in at other times. Library staff do not have the capacity to store or organize book donations. We recommend that you call before loading up your car!
See below for the complete list of items accepted. When preparing your books for donation, please keep in mind that smaller boxes make lifting easier for everyone. If you have more than 5 boxes, contact the Friends directly at friends@starrlibrary.org.

- Hard cover and soft cover, fiction and nonfiction books
- Audiobooks on CD
- Coffee table books
- Artwork
Items we DO NOT accept for donation:
- Textbooks
- Video games
- Board games
- Magazines
- Music Cassette Tapes
- VHS tapes
- Encyclopedias
- Music CDs
- DVDs
