Would the Rhinebeck Historical Society like a school bell for the archives? When I responded, “Yes!”, Nancy Kadlecik donated the bell and sent an interview with her father Rhinebeck native William Gilbert Haines to provide provenance. I was captivated with the school memories! Little did I know, Haines was a WWII veteran and there were so many more memories. Read the entire interview.
