How It Works
- Items can be checked out to anyone with a Mid-Hudson Library Card.
- The loan period for all equipment is 1 day.
- Equipment must be used at Thompson Mazzarella courts and fields only.
- Items must be returned to the circulation desk during library hours.
- Equipment will be barcoded and include a list of contents as well as a liability/safety waiver statement.
- Equipment cannot be reserved or renewed.
- Patrons are responsible for loss or damage to the equipment.

Patrons should note that while the library lends equipment, reservations for courts and fields must be made separately through the Town of Rhinebeck Recreation Department website.
Sports Equipment Borrowing Acknowledgment
By borrowing sports equipment from Starr Library, you agree to use it at your own risk and to exercise reasonable care while using it. The Library is not responsible for injuries or property damage that may occur during use of the equipment. Borrowers are responsible for ensuring the equipment is used safely, appropriately, and only for its intended purpose. Borrowers are also responsible for returning all equipment in the condition in which it was borrowed, normal wear excepted.
Items are due back on the same day and must be returned during regular library hours.
